He was predeceased by: his parents, George I. Harwood and Maxine H. Harwood (Holland); his brother Lloyd Harwood; and his brother-in-law Randy Pittenger. He is survived by: his husband Richard L. Pittenger Jr. of Wichita, KS; his brother Thomas Harwood (Barbara) of Dothan, AL; his sister-in-law Kathy Pittenger of Newton, NJ; his mother-in-law Louise Pittenger of Newton, NJ; and his niece Lori Asslin (Clint) of Dothan, NJ. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
