He was predeceased by: his father Richard "Dick" Dean Ollek; and his former wife Kelly Ollek. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Ollek; his wife Kathy L. Madrigal; his children, Heather Knight, Rebeka Stanley (Trent) and Ryan Ollek (Charley); his stepdaughter Alyssa Howard (Cameron); his siblings, Robyn Gruenwald (Peter) and Ron Ollek (Marlene); and his children, Christina Vandiver (Jeremy), Thomas St (Rachel), Sierra Ingram (Ryen), Summer Madrigal and Dusty Moore. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Downing & Lahey West Mortuary (10515 W Maple St, Wichita, KS 67209). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established with: the Ollek Foundation, 11245 West Neville Court, Wichita, Kansas 67205. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Richard "Rich" Dean Ollek 's name.
