He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mareda and Wilma Mareda; and his sisters, Susan Pappan and Shirley Cox. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, Shannon Benoit (Kelly) of Wichita, Shaun Lucas (Gaby) of Olathe and John Mareda of Wichita; his grandchildren, Brennon Benoit, Anna Lucas and Andrea Lucas; his siblings, Georgie Harrison (Mike) and Jim Mareda (Judy); and his brother-in-law Ron Cox of Wichita.
