She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Spexarth and Teresa Spexarth (Lies); her husband Ronald J. Gros; and her siblings, Lawrence "Butch" J. Spexarth, Jr. and Rita Winter.

She is survived by: her children, Brady Gros (Sandy) of La Crosse, Kansas, Mark (Tracey) of Manhattan, Kansas and Julie Haas (Lorin) of Pratt, Kansas; her grandchildren, Tiffany Dreher (Dustin), Nicholas Rouse, Corey Gros, Tiffany Trapp (Robert), Rachael Marston (Peter), Taylor Vandervoort (Jacob), Dylan Gros, Carson Gros, Magdalen Haas, Jenna Haas and Ryan Haas; and her siblings, John Spexarth (Ruth), Bill Spexarth (Jolene) and Virginia Gutschenritter. She is also survived by her 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Rose's name has been established with: Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 332 North Oak Street, Pratt, Kansas 67124, for the church's renovation project.
