He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Meaux and Mamie Clothile Meaux (Wright); and his sisters, Carolyn, Lorraine and Gail.

He is survived by: his siblings, Margie Dukes (Larry) and John Meaux. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
