He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Anderson and Virginia Anderson; his siblings, Virginia Duty and David Anderson; and his nieces, Kimberly Garver, Dana Anderson and Angie Grady.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his sons, John Alexander (Tami) and Jason Anderson; his sister Susan Mason (Danny); his grandchildren, Kateri of Wichita, KS, John III of Wichita, KS and Sandford Steven "Ford" Alexander of Wichita, KS; and his friends, Scott, Nancy Coon, Chuck and Janet Marshall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Steve's memory can be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1820 E. Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67214 And/or Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church c/o Glory & Praise, 124 N. Roosevelt Street, Wichita, KS 67208.
