She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter McKinley and Bertha Luella Flippo (Gay); her spouse Marion "Bud" Boyle; her former life partner Lowell "Marvin" Brannan; her siblings, Freda Wheeler, Jewel Edmondson, Helen Wilson, Walter Flippo and Raymond Flippo; and her children, James "Bud" Boyle of Bentonville, AR, Kathy Boyle Martin of Winfield, Susan Boyle Black of Pleasanton, John Boyle (Vicki) of Winfield and Ron Boyle (Julie) of Wichita.

She is survived by : her stepchildren, Steve Brannan of Stillwell, OK, Marcia Brannan Weston (Bob) of Arkansas City and Greg Brannan (Janet) of Derby; and her grandchildren, Brian Boyle, Tony Boyle, Michelle Boyle, James Martin, Katrina Jackson, Heather Golay, Austin Martin, Konnor Martin, Dan Black, Jeff Black, Rob Boyle, Brett Boyle, Veronica Schaef, Alliyah Boyle, Martashia Boyle, Payslee Boyle, Ashley Lynn, Tanner Boyle, Bennett Boyle, Aaron Hunt, Jesse Hunt, Matthew Brannan and Michele Brannan. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, "adopted" children, nephews and nieces.

A memorial has been established in Betty's name for St. Jude Children's Hospital. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
