She was predeceased by: her parents, William Andrew Sutton and Gloria Sutton (O'Rourke); her siblings, William, Irwin Sutton and Gloria Pierce; and her grandson Marcus Sloan.
She is survived by: her husband Craig Douglas Ellingson; her daughters, Dana Marler, Michelle Krook (Scott) and Cheri Speer; and her sister Linda Sutton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID Virus, the family will hold a private funeral service at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.
A memorial has been established in Carolyn's name for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
