She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas C. Daniels and Jesse "Beryl" Daniels (Morgan); her husband Walter Meyer; her great grandchild Leo Barrett; and her siblings, J. D. Daniels and TomElla Polk.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Magnusson (Karl) of Winfield and Roger Meyer (Icel) of Winfield; her siblings, S. J. "Jess" Daniels (Joyce) of Augusta and Ann Young (Larry) of Wichita; her grandchildren, Kristina Scott (Andy) of Goddard, Kelly Barrett (Sam) of Emporia, Jacob Magnusson of Milwaukee, WI, Robbie and Rance Meyer of Winfield; and her great grandchildren, Karaline, Cody Scott of Goddard, Cora and Lucille Barrett of Emporia.
The family requests friends practice social distancing and wear masks.
A memorial has been established in Gay's name for Prairie View United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
