She was predeceased by: her mother Charlene Claphan (Floyd); her sister LuCharla Floyd; and her grandparents, Betty Leimkuhler, Josephine and Dimitri Margarita.
She is survived by: her father William "Bill" Margarita; her son Taylor Sloan Margarita of Wichita; her stepmother Cheryl Margarita of Enfield, CT; her sisters, Shelly Tapia of Winfield, Jennifer Shields and Elisa Lowe; her nieces, Gaby Tapia and Adara Bogle; and her nephew Jimmy Lee Claphan.
A memorial has been established in Kristy's name to help defray expenses. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
