She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Mercer and Grace Mercer (Douglass); her spouse Anson Craig Powers; and her siblings, Harold Mercer, Robert Mercer, Ruth Mercer, William Mercer, Betty Doherty, Joan Conrod, Dorothy Pompeo, Richard Mercer and Margaret Puls.
She is survived by: her close friends, Emery, Linda Josserand and Lucretia Lowe; her daughter Lorelie; and her sister-in-law Sherrill Mercer of Lawrence, KS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
