He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Leffew and Florence Leffew (Knuckey); and his siblings, Martin Leffew and Alice Leffew. He is survived by: his wife Joleigh Leffew of Winfield; his children, Jennifer Wilson (Jeff) of Winfield, Russell J. Leffew of Winfield and Jaclyn Stoabs (Kyle) of Winfield; his siblings, Clayton Leffew (Barb) of Winfield, Alan Leffew of Wichita, Darrell Leffew (Andie) of Wichita and Laura Williams (David) of Winfield; and his grandchildren, Sarah Wilson, Alex Wilson, Jaxon Leffew, Averie Stoabs and Cade Stoabs.
A memorial has been established in Russell's name for the American Cancer Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
