It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victor Gurnee of Winfield, Kansas, born in Rose Hill, Kansas, who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gurnee and Leona Desi Gurnee (Bilyeu); his wife Leona Elizabeth Sallee; his children, Clifford Gurnee and Janis Kay Evans; and his siblings, Junior, Darl, Don, Clifford, Maxine and Lorene.
He is survived by: his uncle Homer; his sons, Dennis Gurnee (Sandra) of Arkansas City and David Gurnee (Katie) of Columbus, OH; his brother Jack Gurnee (Barbara) of Hollowell; and his son-in-law Walter Evans. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in Vic's name for the Davita Dialysis Center in Winfield. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
