With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Burkhart of Yates Center, Kansas, born in Smolan, Kansas, who passed away on March 28, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Joseph W. Burkhart and Pearl Burkhart (Sharp); his wife Joyce; his son Bruce Dwight Burkhart (Becky) of Virgil, KS; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Berry and Dwight Burkhart. He was also cherished by four great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
