We bid farewell to Atina Marie Lawson of Alexandria, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 17, 2025 at the age of 85. Atina touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Ruppel and Mona Ruppel (Lovell); her siblings, Raymond Ruppel, Patricia Rameau, June Christianson (Jerry), Jean Dennis and Joyce Rada; and her grandson Andrew.
She is survived by: her children, Roburt Lawson, Raymond Lawson, Rodney Lawson (Christine), Rhonda Herald (David) and Russell Lawson (Rena); her grandchildren, Christopher, Roburt, Laura Marie, Jennifer, Niki, Shannon, Krystle, Casey, Eddie, Darci, Cody, Noah and Alysia; and her siblings-in-law, Sharon Ruppel, Fred Rameau and Ronald Rada. She is also survived by 35 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (10759 Alexandria Pike, Alexandria, KY 41001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
