She was predeceased by : her husband Ronald Wayne Beckett; her parents, Junior B. Reed and Vera Fryar Reed; and her brothers, Darryl Reed and Larry Reed.

She is survived by : her daughters, Tonya Shope (Paul), Deborah Sherman (Kenneth) and Rhonda Holt; and her siblings, Vera Belle Reed Sosby and Gary Reed (Mary). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
