He is survived by: his wife Hazel Deaton Murphy; his children, John Murphy (Tina), Marty Murphy (Ann), Mary Jo Richardson and Theresa Woods (Kelcy); and his siblings, Jack Murphy, Mike Murphy (Julie), Ron Murphy (Cheri), Mary Ann Klein (Ted) and Barbara Wofford (Larry). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
