She is survived by : her husband James Garnett Cooksey; her children, Garnett LaMarr Cooksey (Stella), LaDonna Cooksey Douglas (Timothy) and LaNita Tae Cooksey; her brother Granville Lee Bryson (Diane); and her sister-in-law Betty Jean Bryson. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
