It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Boyd E. York of Arjay, Kentucky, who passed away on April 29, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil York and Flora Rice York; and his grandchildren, Marion Hope and Charity Gail. He is survived by: his wife Betty Cantrell York; his daughters, Joni Gail York (Tammy Clements) of Savannah, Diane Harbin (Allen) of Lawrenceville, Nancy S. Cantrell (Bernard) of Gordon and Angela York (Roderick) of Duluth, Georgia; his stepdaughters, Alfreda and Melisa; his adoptive children, Clippy, Betty Jo and Robert E.; and his siblings, William York (Joanie) of Knox, Kelly York (Frida) of Riceville, Tennessee, Bessie Burke (Scott) of Jonesboro, Julia Kramer (Clem) of Elizabeth, Indiana and Ernestine Gabbard (Jeff) of Morristown, Tennessee. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Marion Hope and Charity Gail.
