He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith Rutherford; his sons, Jason Rutherford (Danielle) of Lexington, KY and Ean Rutherford of Arjay, KY; his daughter-in-law Sonja Rutherford of Morristown, TN; his grandchildren, Isabella, Tressa, Hailey, Alexis and Gavin Rutherford; and his siblings, James Rutherford, Michael Kinkade and Nettie Wood.
