It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Short (Ary, Kentucky), born in Bulan, Kentucky, who passed away on June 9, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Linville Short and Sytha Williams Short; his brothers, Lewis Short and Isaac Short; his half-brother Monroe; and his sisters, Ruth and Maudie.
He is survived by : his wife Dinah Short of Dwarf, KY; his daughter Leah Short of Napoleon, OH; and his siblings, Adam Short (Gladys), Darryl Short (Carrie), Arnold Short (Diane), Lucy Short Combs of Knott County, Pat Holliday (Robert) and Debra Patrick (David). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
