He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sparks and Edith Burgess Sparks; and his brother Charles Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Roberts Sparks of Ashland; his son Daren Sparks of Ashland; and his sisters, Ella Mae Hoy, Donna Sue Adkins of Russell and Sharon Crabtree (Larry) of Mt. Vernon, OH. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
