She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Childers and Bessie Conley Childers; her husband Thomas J. Cogan; and her siblings, John W. Childers, Frank Richard Childers, Martha Hill, Mary Ellen Walsh, Margaret Childers and Peggy Heaberlin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Cogan Young (Ralph) of Springfield, VA and Billie Cogan of Ashland; her grandchildren, Serena Taylor and Robert Young; her close friends, Tom and Nora Felty; and her grandchildren, Lance, Jennifer, Kyle and Zach McComis. She is also survived by four great grandchildren; a great-great grandson; numerous nieces and nephews.
