Betty Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Smith (Ashland, Kentucky), who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Cooksey and Gladys George Cooksey; her son Barry Smith; her siblings, George, Ralph, Howard, Harold Cooksey and Wilma Sawyer; her great grandchild Emmersyn Leigh Smith; and her sons-in-law, Phil Derifield and Dave Neiffer.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Smith of Boyd County; her daughters, Becky Derifield and Beverly Neiffer; her grandson Dustin Smith (Ashleigh); her great grandchildren, Lilian Smith and Norah Kate Smith; her daughter-in-law Cynthia Smith; and her nephew Keith Cooksey (Sandy).
