She was predeceased by: her husband Ezra Eugene Groce; her son Michael Groce; and her siblings, Bob Mineer, Bruce "Shorty" Mineer, Anna Poynter and Judy Boling.

She is survived by: her son Gerald Thomas Groce (Janita) of Ashland; and her sister Bonnie Boston of Louisville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; along with a host of extended family and friends.
