She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Osborne and Katherine Erie Osborne; and her close friend Mike Mantle. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Sue Whitley; her stepson Ronnie Mantle (Tonya); her siblings, Jimmy Osborne and Susan Cantrell; her grandchildren, Kristan Tyndall (Chris) of Goldsboro, NC, Wesley Whitley (Kristen) of Goldsboro, NC and Katie Whitley of Goldsboro, NC; her great grandchildren, Lawson Tyndall, Kennedy Tyndall and Wesley Whitley III; and her close friends, Sandy, Tim, Leigh Ann and Patty. She is also survived by extended family and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Billie Jean's memory should be directed to the American Heart Association.
