She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Waugh and Ruby Carpenter Waugh; and her sister Sherrie Lynn Waugh Badgett. She is survived by: her husband James Orville Swinford; her son Christopher Michael Akers of Louisiana; and her grandchildren, Emma and Austin Akers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Malone Funeral Home (325 Malone Ln, Grayson, KY 41143). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
