He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Carter; his siblings, Pam Hess and Ronald Mark Carter; his children, Gregory Alan Carter of South Carolina and Alicia Marie Carter Nivens of Ashland, KY; his siblings, Keith Carter of Bufort, SC, Danny Carter of Ashland, KY, Linda Wright (Mike) of Lancing, MI and Leigh Ann Fielding (Mark) of Lexington, KY.; and his grandchildren, Cayden Carter, Jaxon Carter, Faith Nivens and Ethan Nivens.
