He was predeceased by: his siblings, Fred, Vincent, Clifford and Jenny Riffe. He is survived by: his wife Donna Maggard Powers of Ashland; his daughters, Vanessa McKenzie (John) of Richmond, VA and Allison Pierce (Brian) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Stephanie Layton (Jeff), Brooke Christian (Cody), Joey Pierce (Kathryn McGuire), Dakota McKenzie, Haley Pierce and Madison Davis; his great grandchildren, Trey Christian, Tanner Christian, Shannon Layton and Desmond Layton; his siblings, Joyce Rayburn of Ashland, Joann Reed of Florida, Herman and David (Sheryl); his sister-in-law Brenda Lewis of Ashland; his siblings' child Angie Lewis; Ron Davis.
