She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Oscar and Bessie McNurlin Brown; her husband Donald Nolan Holmes; her son James Maverick Holmes; and her siblings, Charles Oswald Brown, James David Brown, Patricia Riffe and Betty Wells.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Charles Riffe (Michelle), Jim Holmes Steve Holmes, Kevin Holmes, Eric Holmes, Kim Brown, Yvonne Stewart, Patty Marshall, Bonnie Campbell and Donna Kettle; her siblings-in-law, Ted Riffe and Magdalene Brown; her granddaughter Nikki Danielle Holmes; and her great grandchild Shayna Lee Holmes. She is also survived by cousins, family and friends.
