He was predeceased by: his father Rev. Andrew J. "A. J.". He is survived by: his mother Asenath Bowling Toney of Catlettsburg, KY; his uncle Joel Hickman of Jackson, OH; and his cousins, Scott Hickman of Lockport, NY and Tracy Hickman of Jackson, OH. He is also survived by numerous cousins and many friends.
