He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Phyllis Kay Kruger Carpenter and Daniel L. Carpenter, Sr.; his daughter Nikki Wells of Ashland, KY; and his grandchildren, Raelynn, Jae, Landon, Emmalynn and Nora.
