He was predeceased by: his parent Ford Vencill; and his brother Bill Vencill. He is survived by: his parent Nellie Washburn Vencill; his wife Julia Wheeler Vencill of Ashland; and his sibling's children, Alexander Lyons, Amy Baker (Eric), Tony Wheeler (Melissa) and Lori Hooks (Brad).
