It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dola Jackson Jr. (Ashland, Kentucky), born in Oil Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dola Jackson and Lenore Blair Jackson; his sisters, Arvilla "Bea" Conley, Frankie Franks and Vaughn Bradshaw; and his nephew Vern Conley.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Jo Williams Jackson; his daughters, Jonda L. Tackett (Timothy P.) of Ashland and Sherri J. Jackson Barbour (Rodney) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Timothy Ryne Tackett of Ashland, Madison Len Barbour (Jonathon) of Ashland, Meredith Lee Rice (Cody) of Ashland and John Braden Barbour of Ashland; his great grandchildren, William Cooper Rice of Ashland, Jarrett Nolan Rice of Ashland, Jackson Blaine Rice of Ashland, Elliot Malynn of Ashland, Griffin Blaine Gibson of Ashland, Parker Gibson of Ashland and Aiden Gibson of Ashland; and his nephew Anthony "Pop" Conley.
Due to Covid restrictions masks are required for all of those in attendance and a strict six foot social distance must be maintained.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Wildwood Baptist Church Building Fund.
