We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2021, at the age of 77, Donald F. Young of Ashland, Kentucky passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald F. Young to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen M. Young and Vivian Fletcher Young; his brothers, Harold Young and Rick Young; and his grandson Clay Goble.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Meade Young of Ashland; his daughters, Sheri Henry (Scott) of Catlettsburg and Missy Young-Salyers (Mark) of Ashland; his siblings, Bob Young, Dean Young of Ashland and Diane Kersey of Ashland; and his grandchildren, Conner Goble, Chase Goble, Caleb Henry (Bobbi), Caroline Henry and Grace Conley. He is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Martin County Family Resource Center, Meade Station Church of God, or you simply may donate backpacks filled with school supplies for the Martin County School System by bringing them to the funeral home the day of the service.
