He was predeceased by: his wife Georgene Preston Ball; his parents, Milton Ball and Texie Walker Ball; and his son-in-law Eddie Dove. He is survived by: his children, Keith Ball (Wanda) of Ashland, Debbie Ball Dove of Ashland, David Ball of Ashland and Danny Ball (Vickie) of Ashland. He is also survived by six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
