He was predeceased by: his parents, Furman Doty and Thelma McHenry Doty; and his siblings, Furman, Gerald, Dean Doty, Opal Borstad and Kay Fritz.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jean Williams Doty of Westwood; his daughter Gloria Hayden (Joseph) of Memphis, TN; his stepchildren, Lisa Michelle Dunlap (Steve) of Catlettsburg, Kelli Jo Peters (Mark) of Westwood, Lori Lea Miller (Sean) of Cincinnati and Christopher Wilson (Kari) of Ironton, OH; his sister Chlorinda "Cindy" Sonder of Harrisburg, PA; his grandchildren, Dustin Lee Miller, Brandon Lee Morris, Makaylea Cortes (Jonah), Kenna LaRae Morris and Travis Allen Miller; and his great grandchild Ayden Peterman. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
