He is survived by: his wife Bonita Cover Gearhart of Grayson; his children, Rene Gearhart, Natalie Shuman (Scott) and Stephanie Johnson; his stepdaughter Kristi Gossett (D. R.); and his grandchildren, Chris Acosta (Kayla), Alicia Acosta, Zachary Gossett and Lezlie Gossett.
