He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Beecher Alban and Sarah Whitt Alban; his wife Alene Boggs Alban; his brothers, David, Russell, Jack and Matere; and his daughter Jane Anne Alban.
He is survived by: his sons, David (Gelske) and John (Shelly) of Florida; his sibling's children, Cheryl L. Hankins, Diane Hanaway of Michigan and Eric Alban; and his close friends, Tammy Forsyth (John), Dena Newsom, Verna Newman, Herb Conley, Leon, Bonnie Hart, Mark Swift, Dr. Tim, Karen Hart, Tim Pullem, Debbie Gardner, Buckeye and Tomcat Fans. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and numerous great nieces and nephews.
