He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Janes and Katherine Emrick Blazer; and his sisters, Patricia Hamilton (John), Laura Behan (Paul) and Sally Bond (Bill).
He is survived by: his daughters, Julia Murray (Ray) of Woodland, MS, Beth Conner (Mark) of Chillicothe, OH and Susan Thomas (Eric) of Navarre, OH; his grandchildren, Zachary Thomas, Nathan Thomas, Virginia "Ginny" Conner and Katherine "Katie" Conner; Charlotte Crites. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
