He was predeceased by: his parent James Henry Oliver Sr.; his sisters, Jennifer Sue Oliver and Jacqueline Oliver Claxon; and his brother-in-law Thomas H. Claxon. He is survived by: his parent Clarice "Peggy" McLemore Oliver of Ashland; his siblings, Carolyn Oliver Graeves (Raymond), Kenneth J. Oliver of Ashland and Bobby E. Oliver (Johnda) of Ashland; and his siblings' children, John Claxon, Tommy Claxon of Raceland, James R. Oliver of Ashland, Julie Claxon, Jenna Claxon and Eli Ferguson of Raceland.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Community Hospice in Ashland or the Disabled American Veterans charity.
