With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Walker (Ashland, Kentucky), who passed away on July 26, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Walker and Hazel Young Walker; his wife Dolla Joy Ransom Walker; and his sister Nancy Hatten. He is survived by: his daughter Jamie Gaye Walker Nunley of Ashland; and his grandchildren, Caleb Robert Nunley, Fiancé, Bryttany Barker and Kristina Joy Nunley. He is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Avenue, Ashland, KY, 41101; or to Shriners Children's Hospital.
