He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Sr Thompson and Braunda Lee Sparks Thompson; and his sister Sherri Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Patty Tufts Thompson of Ashland; his siblings, Charles Thompson (Leslie) and Lesa Crum (Cam); his great grandchildren, David Thompson, Dr. Addison Young (Maggie), Blake Young, Maryanna Thompson and Xavier Thompson; his uncle Bill Sparks; Richard Allen Thompson (Cindy) of Ashland, Margaret Ann Bowman (Mark) of Greenup and Shelby. He is also survived by extended family, dear friends.
