He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marion "Red" Harrison and Edna Mae Scott Harrison; his wife Joan Marie Miller; and his children, John W. Harrison, Jr. (Sandy) of Louisville, KY, Jeffrey W. Harrison (Ellen) of Tompkinsville, KY and Jennifer S. Royer (Cres) of Asheville, NC. He was also cherished by his seven grandchildren, and his two great-grandchildren.
