With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita McDowell of Ashland, Kentucky, born in Ezel, Kentucky, who passed away on February 2, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Ray Brown and Alma Hill Brown; and her husband John Virgil McDowell. She is survived by: her friend Antiques; her children, John Markel McDowell (Gretchen) of Ashland and Marcella "Marcie" Oliver (Scott) of Louisville; her siblings, Roger Brown of Ashland and Joy Ferguson (Chandis) of Ashland; her grandchildren, John Daniel "J. D." McDowell (Hannah), Hannah R. McDowell, Emily P. McDowell and Gemma L. Oliver; and her great grandchild John David Asher McDowell.
