It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Sexton Elkins of Ashland, Kentucky, born in Homestead, Florida, who passed away on October 12, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Phyllis Lyttleton Sexton of Franklin, TN and Edward Earl Sexton; her grandparents, Arnold E. "Doc" and Garnett Louise Sexton; her children, Michael Weed of Ashland, Kevin Pennington (Jessica) of South Point, OH and Lori Herring; her siblings, Joe Sexton (Amy) of Ft. Worth, TX, Karen Dodge (Bob) of Thousand Oaks, CA and Sheri Kennedy (Shelby) of Nashville, TN; and her granddaughter Haley Herring. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
