He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Baker and Anna Ruth Baker (Faulconer). He is survived by: his daughter Lori Stringer (Alan) of Ashland, KY; his grandchildren, Leslie Stringer and David Stringer; his siblings, Mike Baker (Joyce) of Lynchburg, VA and Becky Willis of Bartlett, TN; his aunt Margaret Whitaker of Richmond, KY; his uncle James Baker of Cincinnati, OH; and his friend Anita Baker. He is also survived by cousins who he loved dearly, and his former wife.
