He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Macfarlane and Bessie Rogers Morriss; his former wife Theodocia Plaster Morriss; his wife Virginia Bush Morriss; and his siblings, Robert Fielding Morriss and Elizabeth Carrington Morriss.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Morriss of Silver Spring, MD and Raymond Morriss (Brenda) of Cumberland, MD; his stepdaughter Leslie Phillips (Mark) of York, PA; and his granddaughters, Regina Christiansen (Sam) and Katherine Phillips. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
