He is survived by: his wife Patty Stapleton; his daughters, Lisa Lucas (Tim) of Rush and Lana Dillion of Ashland; his grandson Eric Burton (Rachel) of Ashland; his great grandchildren, Easton, Colton and Ansley; and his brothers, Luther Stapleton (Gledia) of Lorain, OH, Earl Stapleton (Claudette) of Ashland, Randall Stapleton (Jackie) of Ashland and Donald Stapleton (Joy) of Rush. He is also survived by many friends and extended family.
