He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jason Salyers and Sarah Stapleton Salyers; and his daughters, Nancy Jane Pruitt and Mary Ann Blythe. He was also cherished by three stepchildren, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
